Peer Review Process

Every manuscript submitted to Nusantara Technology Journal (NTJ) undergoes a rigorous editorial and peer review process to ensure the quality, originality, scientific contribution, and relevance of the submitted work.

All manuscripts are initially evaluated by the Editorial Board to determine their suitability with the journal scope, formatting requirements, and ethical standards. Manuscripts that do not meet the journal requirements may be rejected without external review.

Manuscripts that pass the initial screening will be reviewed through a Double-Blind Peer Review process, where the identities of both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the review process.

Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant field. Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on:

Originality Scientific Contribution Relevance Methodology Technical Quality Language Clarity References Research Ethics

Based on reviewers’ recommendations, the Editor may make one of the following decisions:

  • Accept Submission
  • Minor Revisions Required
  • Major Revisions Required
  • Reject Submission

The review process generally takes approximately 2–8 weeks, depending on reviewer availability and the complexity of the manuscript.
