SISTEM PENDUKUNG KEPUTUSAN PENERIMA BEASISWA PPA MENGGUNAKAN METODE SIMPLE ADDITIVE WEIGHTING

Abstract

Scholarship programs are commonly implemented in educational institutions as a means to ease the financial burden of students during their studies. These programs are offered selectively, based on specific criteria and the type of scholarship available, such as the Academic Achievement Scholarship (PPA).To be eligible for such scholarships, applicants must meet predetermined requirements. Not all who apply will be accepted; only those who fulfill the established criteria will be selected as recipients.However, the distribution of scholarships is often not well-targeted. This issue arises because the selection process frequently lacks the use of systematic tools or methods to assist in determining eligible candidates. Therefore, a decision support system is proposed to improve the selection process for scholarship recipients.
